Looking to develop professionally. Not sure which one to go for. I know they’re both different so I’m not entirely sure which is best fit for me. Would like to be in slt at some point. Been a mentor and lead on curriculum development at the moment.

help?

I have done the NPQLT, and we were constantly told it is better than the NPQLTD as we do the same things, but more (apparently).

I’ve done the NPQLT. My only advice is don’t do it with Teach First. It’s beyond shite.

I am doing the NPQLTD - I think it makes sense if you're a professional tutor, as opposed to simply mentoring one staff member. I am enjoying it but I've not actually got a mentor and I am concerned!!!! I know I'll be able to get a mentor in September but I started ages ago!!!

NPQLTD is designed for people slightly higher up the career ladder than NPQLT. I would say that NPQLT is like learning to be a decent Lead Practitioner, NPQLTD is more like preparing for Senior Leadership. I f you’re interested in curriculum development you might be better off with NPQSL?
