Feeling overwhelmed

Private school KS1

I was doing well this far into the school year without falling but today has been awful.
•redundancies for 24-5 announced in my department.
• Boss told me to make one of my reports more positive (even though this will mean me lying)
•An event my department put on was heavily criticised by the parents.
•Bitchiness from colleagues
•Feel burnt out

Any advice?

So sorry that you're feeling so overwhelmed.
I am in a state primary and also feeling like there is just too much to do and I am not doing much of it well. Just keep reminding myself to try and have a thicker skin and that in a few weeks time all this will be forgotten, It is a tough job and it does take a toll on us.

It's a very stressful job. The demands are incredible. It's the end of the year, so I think everyone is starting to feel exhausted and ready for the summer. Just tell yourself, you are nearly there. If you need a couple of days off, take them.
