Learning walk

I had an SLT member and some guests in my class as part of a learning walk. They notified the staff about it a day before by email, which I, unfortunately, missed reading.

I am worried now, as it was not the best lesson, and the class was just working on some topic worksheets.

Do you think this could impact me negatively?

I am very worried!

Learning walks are meant to be frequent and short, to gove a snapshot of teaching in your classroom over time.

I wouldn't worry.

Learning walks are more informal than a lesson obs and feedback is usually anonymous e.g In some lessons Do Nows were being used effectively. In some lessons some students were disengaged and behaviour was not challenged type comments.
