I need to plan a lesson for a year 3 class (30 mins) where the children write a piece of narrative work with descriptive language.

I’m thinking

1. quick hook based on narrative
2. what is a narrative
3. Mindmap descriptive language (or word bank children can fill in as we go through) 4 writing - wander around read over shoulder guide children to corrections
