Anyone work in a Dixons Academy?

If yes… does there ethos work as well as they say it does. I’m doing some research for my NPQSL and looking at their Opensource videos I’m really impressed?

Not work in one but work closely with one - parents hate it (school have been really unpleasant about disadvantaged communities) bitterly, students don’t seem happy and the organisation seems poor because some things are handled by school and some by MAT staff but doesn’t seem to be coherent.

A while ago my friends son attended one and he did really well - I expect it depends a bit on which school it is
