Special school teacher here. Work part time. Do have another temp teacher doing the restof week but I'm 'lead' teacher.. HT has just asked that I do all reports, majority of assessments and all EHCP & reviews. She has said she will pay me an extra day for this but all full time staff are getting a day out of class to do reports too..... I'm feeling its unfair. Thoughts

If you feel it's unfair, and you don't want the extra day, then I would go back and discuss it with your Head. Explain you only work 3 days (or whatever you do) for a reason, and you feel being asked to do all reports etc is unfair. Explain you don't want to work a 4th day each week and ask that they find another solution.

If that doesn't work I'd suggest speaking to your union rep.

Agree with PP. She is putting you up by one day a week by stealth! Not fair. Just say you are only prepared to do three fifths of the reports etc if you work 0.6, and speak to your union if it's a problem.
