I would appreciate if anyone knows what the hourly rate for a TEFL teacher might be. I am a retired teacher, but thinking about gaining the TEFL certificate and teaching on line. Any other advice would be very welcome.

Hello, I recently got a CELTA qualification and since July have been earning between £18-22 an hour. This is in language schools rather than online though.

Advice needed please

My child is in her first year of a primary teaching degree at university and she has been at her placement four weeks today she has had an email from the university advising her placement has been withdrawn and when she has asked further questions they have said it’s her lack of subject knowledge

She has set her heart on being a teacher but she has dyslexia and i have often worried she won’t be successful because of her dyslexia

How can they withdraw after 4 weeks every time she has had feedback it’s been good although they have managed lack of subject knowledge

Her lesson yesterday wasn’t great behaviour wise but they children were on a school activity the night before are were very tired
