Really not fussed about presents and I know I'm being ridiculous but rather irrationally upset to have a child in my Y3 class who I get along with very well and has previously made me cards/gifts with Best Teacher on etc had dropped off gift bags in the office to about 5 other teachers but not me, his class teacher! Absolutely no idea why but am now worrying and stressing that there must be an issue, but no idea what?!

Let it go over your head. He is a 7/8 year old child. Might be the case that his parents will bring you a gift on the last day of term?

It's never nice to feel left out. I always struggle to work out which teachers to give presents to, TAs, SEND support etc, as they all help out and you want to be fair to everyone.

A really nice touch our school has is one of these lovely Christmas post boxes, for children to put their cards to others in. It's great as children then aren't as aware if they're getting less cards than anyone else so no one feels left out and they find it really fun too!
