I've had my pay increment but no back-pay for the government increase.

Any ideas on this? I have emailed HR.

We are getting ours in December, back dated to September.

We are the same, we are getting our uplifted salaries paid end November and December but won't be getting the backdated amounts from September and October until January!

Can anyone tell me what the pay increase works out to per hour please? Trying to work out how much I'm owed

@ChangedName654321 No one here can tell you that. The basic pay rise was 6.5%. But 6.5% isn't the same amount of money for everyone because everyone had a different starting point.

If you are on UPS 3 in inner London with a maximum TLR, obviously your 6.5% will be worth a lot more than someone who is on M6 outside London who has no TLR.

Assuming your school follows the STPCD It will be easy for you to check what your new gross salary will be (though that could be complicated by any TLRs as I don't think schools are obliged to put up TLRs by 6.5% unless they were the minimum level). It will be more difficult to work out your net pay because the increase will or might affect your tax, NI, pension contributions and student loan repayments (if any).

Thanks everyone. The business manager replied to me today and said it would be in our December pay (backdated to September). 🎉
