Tips for 2nd referee in education

Does anyone have any suggestions for a 2nd referee when you have worked in your current school a long time-(previously temped and then prior head was no longer in post)

I have had 2 refs from the same school before.

I've used two from the same school - the Head, and an Assistant Head who was my line manager.
