Hi there,

Does anyone know how much a monthly wage is after tax and teacher pension taken off for 60% UPS2 salary?

Thanks!

Am guessing you meant to post this on the staff room topic? We have a different pay scale in universities.

UPS 2 is £42131
42131 X 0.6 = 25278
At that salary pension contribution is 7.4%

Pop all that in to salary calculator and you get £1642 take home.

That's at 22/23 rates. So a little more when proposed 23/24 rates are approved.

That's assuming you are a teacher and not an academic. UPS2 is a teacher salary pay point. I'm not sure of academics pay scales
