Hi,
I've worked with children and young people in various different sectors over the last 14 years and looking to gain work as a TA in a primary school. I'm currently working 4 days in a college and have just secured a voluntary placement today at a local primary school, alongside completing a degree with The Open University. I'm 39, have 2 children who are becoming more independent. Anyone else in a similar position 🙂

Not in a similar position myself but work with many T.A's your age bracket who are career changers with kids across the age range. They have varying degrees of experience, some lots and some none at all. They are all successful and appear to embrace their role.
