I’ve just accepted a new teaching job full time. I was the only applicant - It’s rural.

So rural in fact that I can’t find any childcare for LO… so, do you think they’d accept me if I only wanted to work two days a week?

do you think they’d accept me they've already offered you the full time role and you've already accepted the full time role. Or did I misunderstand?

If you've already accepted, then doesn't that mean usual notice periods and contracts would now apply?

@Toddler101 yes I’ve accepted it on a full time basis. But I’m seriously considering asking them if they’d consider me part time

Unlikely they would accept 2 days per week. Perhaps 4 days though?

@Meredusoleil thank you. I’ll keep looking for childcare and if I can’t find anything, I’ll have to ask them for fewer days 🤷🏼‍♀️
