Bit upset

I started my ECT doing a maternity cover, started beginning of December, ending next week. I've always felt like a stop gap until the real teacher came back. Never felt like my class etc. Anyway, I've been on my transition at my new school (which I'm dreading which is another thread) and since I came back on Tuesday, I can't log on to my accounts eg ed shed, white rose etc. Transpires they've deleted them to give to a new teacher.

Made me feel rubbish, I've put everything into this school, over and above. Maybe i feel like this because I'm not convinced my new school is the right fit for me.

Seems a bit premature to take you off things as guess you may have a few days left at school.
As for the new school I wish you the very best of luck.

It's not ideal to take you off accounts you might need before the end of term- personally I'd be asking them to reinstate your accounts until your contract finishes.

I would say that schools rarely repay the loyalty and effort you put into them- if you want to go the extra mile, you have to accept it's solely for the benefit of the children, and you won't necessarily get anything back from the school.

Strange how your access has been removed already- seems premature- but could be an error - our leavers are removed the day after their final working day… In fact, you’ve just reminded me… I need to send a list of all colleague leavers to the IT Network Manager to get their access removed next week.
