Safeguarding issue?

Today after school (secondary that I started at recently) I went to the local shop, a few of the school kids were in there and when I got to the counter a teacher (who is in her first year) was buying two students big bars of chocolate. Both girls said “thank you miss”. So I don’t think they are related to her. do I need to report this?

Chocolate not crack or vapes or booze.
Not a problem.

You could simply speak to the teacher and explain why this may not be a good idea and how it could be perceived.

I've known teachers give chocolate rewards; perhaps she had offered this but forgotten to buy them before their last lesson with her. It might have been better to tell them to come to find her at the staffroom the next day, but not a crime.
