DH qualified as a teacher 10 years ago but left due to issues not to do with teaching. Since then one thing or another in our lives has stopped him going back but now he would like to return.
The snag he's hit is getting a teaching reference. He only taught in one school and was only there 2 years. Now no one is left at the school who he worked with.
Supply agencies have suggested volunteering in a school for months but we can't afford him to be without a salary that long.
There must be a way back in! Anyone who has gone back after a long gap have any suggestions? I'd be really grateful.
