Will I get paid?

I've been on a temporary teaching contract at a school from April 2022 and it will end next month. Looking at my contract, it says that it ends July 2023 so does this mean that I won't be paid for August? Even though I've worked the full academic year?

Sadly I think is does mean that. Check with the hr at your school as you been there nearly a year And a half it does seem rather mean!!

The only thing I'd check is that your daily rate was your annual wage devised by 195. If you have been paid that then the holiday pay is included within that calculation. However, if you have been paid monthly then def something to raise! Did you sign anything to say it was fixed term from September to July?
