I've had enough

I think I've hit the wall.

I'm so done with the ridiculous expectations and pressures on the kids (I'm mixed Y5&Y6).

Having to 'evidence' things all the bloody time as I'm not trusted to just do my job.

All that utterly stupid SPAG that we have to force-feed Y6 knowing full-well that it'll be forgotten by Sept.

The constant scrutiny and threat of Ofsted at any moment.

Constantly chasing our tails to cover a curriculum that everyone knows we can't possibly cover. Unless there were 10 hours a day..

I'm not sure that even the good stuff like working with the children is worth it any more. And I work in a lovely school with a decent SLT. God help colleagues in schools with unsupportive SLT.

It's the system itself - it's not fit for purpose.

I think I just need to rant. And, possibly a silly question, but is anyone else feeling like this?!!!

Apart from never voting Tory, what else can we do?!!

Post your ballot voting for strike action in the Autumn.

Yep. Already done. 👍

I feel exactly the same. Observations and Sats both in the same week! What honestly is the point!

Move to the private sector if these ^^ are the things that get you down.
There are of course annoying things about the private sector but no sats or observations.
