So I had an appointment, could not get it out of work hours, I contacted work prior to going in, was away from work from an hour (gp was delayed) it was pretty imperative that I saw GP to be referred.
Few days later I received a sick form from work. I'm assuming I will be docked wages, however if I had of phoned in sick for the day I would have had full pay. Not overly upset that I am loosing an hours pay but it's the principle.
We have loads of staff, many take sick days when they are not sick, sore big toe, blocked nose (cannot actually be bothered) and also using MH as know they won't be challenged (totally not dissing those who actually have poor MH)
I have been quietly quitting for the last week (I think this is what it is called) as I'm so peeved that I am getting penalised when I have had zero sick days for at least the last 3 years (apart from Covid). Am I actually being pathetic ? Do I just need to suck it up?!
