Changing jobs often

Does it look bad on CV if you’ve changed schools often? (Once every 2 years)

I suppose it depends on your reasons for changing schools. If it’s because you’ve sought better roles or had to move away then I’m sure any future employer wouldn’t bat an eyelid. If it’s not, they would probably want to probe a bit more into your reasons why.

Thanks it’s a variety of reasons. Maternity, going from part to full time etc etc

I think that's fine. In most areas, schools can't afford to be too picky, anyway!

NEmaa · 25/04/2023 19:19

@Postapocalypticcowgirl yep seems like they take anyone these days 😂

Surely though if you are appointing someone to an important position and they change schools every couple of years you would look elsewhere if there was a similar option available!

NEmaa · 26/04/2023 19:38

I think the point is schools aren’t picky anymore as they are desperate for staff!!!

@NEmaa That's true - but you asked if it looks bad - in many situations it does look bad. However that doesn't mean it's impossibly to get a job.

NEmaa · 26/04/2023 20:32

@dootball yes just can’t find the right school!
