On numerous occasions I’ve flagged issues to the dsl regarding a students behaviour to a female student along. My issue is that this student is displaying serious controlling behaviours towards the female. I don’t think she is picking up on this or aware of this, it’s actually uncomfortable to watch.

we’ve all been teens once but this behaviour has really been frustrating to watch at times, particularly when the dsl could have stepped in on numerous occasions. This boys mannerisms are so condescending, and I think this girls perception of it is that it is normal. It seems at times that she wants to say this but looks afraid almost.

I’ve logged this so many times. Im actually unbelievably frustrated how many times I’ve done this, I don’t like watching this behaviour and it seems nothing is done about it. Ever.

What more can I do?

What action are you expecting the DSL to take?

You can speak to the DSL and explain you've reported concerns, and you're not sure if any action has been taken. The DSL as a very minimum should confirm whether action has been taken, or else discuss reasons why this isn't possible.

It may be, that although the behaviour is concerning, there's a limit to what can be done by the school?

What action would you think would be appropriate?

Speak to the DSL. As someone who has taught two girls murdered by boyfriends, don't let this lie. You are right to report it.
