30 minutes mixed y3=4 class, grammar focus. Getting into a tizz over this. Thought about teaching adverbs (acting out ways to add info to a verb) but other than that I'm feeling stuck.

Also a little undecided if I'm doing the right thing in the first place! Feel like I should be able to do this, and if I was teaching my own class it would be fine. But an interview lesson has got me worried!

Breath. Think of how you would deliver to your own class. Think of the questions you need to ask. Give student time to reinforce the learning. Set the learning in a context. Most important be clear about your learning objective/intention.
It is what you do every day. Ace it!👌

Thank you. I'm still in panic mode . So I thought I'd do a quick recap of word classes then talk about adverbs. Send them into groups to act out a verb and then to come to with adjectives eg quietly messily etc on flip chart paper. Bring back to share. Then ask if we could change position of adverb? Ind write a sentence - 3 levels - stem sentence printed and just adding adverb, write sentence to add adverb , tops to have a verb a noun and to come up with their own sentence. Challenge to change position

Only have 30 mins. 30 chn. Mixed 3/4.

Also have an assessment task, school Council interview and a 4 person panel interview

Might just be easier to stay put in my own school...

Go for it. Pace your lesson. Deliver it with confidence.

Does it sound OK? So hard with chn you don't know. I'm still an ect so ì doubt everything!

Which aspect of the lesson are you going to model?
Do you have a relationship with another teacher/your mentor where you could talk through your plan with them?

Going to model putting the adverbs they come up with into sentences on a flip chart and changing position of the adverb before they write their independent sentences.
If this was my class I wouldn't be at all worried but because it's an observation I'm terrified. I have no confidence in myself
