Tes straight to teaching

Hi has anyone gained QTS through Tes straight to teach route? If yes how did you find it? Would I qualify for having only worked in one school for over 5 years? TIA.

My understanding is that for the assessment only route you still need experience of two schools, but this could be arranged whilst you are being assessed etc. TES may help you with a second placement or other schools in your MAT may be able to help.

But this shouldn't put you off applying.

@Postapocalypticcowgirl thank you. is it jus an assessment-only route ? Do they not prepare you for QTS?
