Union Caseworker

Has anyone here been allocated a union caseworker or acted as one? I am looking for some experience and possibly advice regarding the process.

I have had one and I work with some.

Please could you tell me a little about the process? What would happen if I agreed to a caseworker being assigned to me.

They would ask for all the details of the case and then discuss the possible next steps with you. They can't act without your consent.

Mine dealt with admin about meeting dates and venues for me so I didn't have to wait with dread with the emails from school.

They also - very firmly - put my head back in his box when he made an outrageous and totally false allegation.

I've got a union caseworker after being removed from my classroom because of I'll health.
