Should I go to school tomorrow?

I was unwell over the weekend and I tested positive for Covid on Monday and have been pretty unwell. I’m probably well enough now to drag myself in tomorrow though and I don’t work Fridays so this would my only day before half-term. I’m still testing positive and some work colleagues know this. I’m not prepared to teach in a mask.

Would you want me in school? The school would want me back but part of me thinks I’d do better to properly recover at home. I’m torn with what’s the best thing to do.

No stay at home. You could potentially spoil a lot of families holiday plans.

No because you may ruin others' half term and they may not be forgiving.

Though if I have it I probably got it from school so it’s probably going round again. This is my third time and it always hits me hard. It doesn’t seem to affect others in the same way.

It is truly going around! You are right, I am sure it is rife in your environment and you caught it at school.

Didn’t go in. Got worse in the night. I guess that was for the best.
