Teaching abroad - SENCO-type role?

Ok so I don't currently live in the UK (but I did for a few years and would love to return, but the visa situation prevents it). I was in the classroom for 15+ years, but now work in a role which is sort of like a SEN consultant - hard to explain. I have my Masters and a few other post-grad qualifications.

I'm thinking of teaching internationally, but don't really want to go back to the classroom. Just wondering if anyone's had a SENCO-type role in an international school, and what it was like? Also recommendations of great countries to teach in - I'm a single female.

Thanks!

Not me, but I met someone last year who had recently come back from an International school in the Middle East somewhere, where she worked as a SENCo, so they must exist.
