MPS question - new job

I’ve received a letter of offer today for a new job. The letter states I’ll be on M5 (as I am now) £34,100 - however, my understanding is this is the pay for 2021-22.

Im currently on M5 £35,990 which is the pay for 2022-23. Has not every school adopted the new pay scales? Or could it be a typo situation?

If they are a MAT, they don't have to adopt the new pay scales and many haven't yet and can't afford to.

Assuming you haven't given your notice yet, I would contact them and ask if they can match your current pay.
