When do you get your timetable? Been out for so long and starting a new job mid year-when should I expect my timetable/teaching allocations? Really wanting to make a start on my planning!

If you're picking something up from someone else, which I assume you are, it should already exist. When do you start?

All depends when you start your new role. Guessing it’s January - in that case over the next couple of weeks. I would touch base with your new line manager if you haven’t had contact with them by the second week in December.
As it’s mid year, as Mrs Hamlet has said, you’ll be taking over from another teacher and their timetable will essentially become yours. UNLESS of course, teachers within the department are swapped around - but that is very unlikely.

Can you arrange to visit your new school at some point before christmas? Hopefully then they can give you your timetable and access to schemes of work etc. You can also then see what shared resources are available too?

I agree if you're taking over from someone else it should be a relatively straightforward swap.

But if you're filling a vacancy that wasn't filled in September, then it might involve some rearranging of timetables?
