A term’s notice

Asking for a friend - if you were to give a term’s notice today, when would be your last working day? In December or April?

She is in dispute with her school.

Depends whether the school follow STPCD

On a standard teacher contract you can give notice any time up to the 31st October to leave at Christmas.

But if it is a full term then, yes, now is too late for Christmas so technically it would be Easter. Possibly they could negotiate Feb half term?

Conditions are a full term’s notice. She thinks that should mean u til February ie two half terms. A non-teaching contract.

She needs union advice. They may be able to negotiate for her.
