What are tur expectations abut linea managers visiting your class? Mine has 'visited' mine and colleagues twice this week unannounced. She stays and chats to kids etc for about 15mins. Feels like an observation. She newly I the role and very overseen to micromanage but do I say something? We have ifficial observations next week too.

Absolutely the norm in my school, unannounced visits from everyone.
if your teaching is sound then honestly don’t worry ( of course it is stressful though )

I'm in every classroom every day, to chat to the pupils and staff, make sure any children with behavioural issues know I'm around(!) work with a group of children, go out on playground duty etc.If it's a formal observation, then I book a slot to suit the staff, otherwise I just pop in as and when I can.
