What's your covid policy for staff? We have a staff member off with covid. Tested positive today, I sat with her yesterday for 1 hour for meeting, wondering if need to be testing? School policy is not test.

I would just test if you start to get symptoms to be honest.

I would stuff school policy and test for your own peace of mind. I am one of probably 2 members of staff in a school of 100 plus who wears a mask. No social distancing because we government has said we don't have to. I ask pupils to keep their distance and keep away from.staff. I know the advice is you can go to work if you have Covid if you do not feel unwell but I will not go and pass onto others- madness. Got a cold but still tested just to be on the safe side.

SLT have told us we must not test. However one of my closest friends is CEV, I am CV (early vaccines etc) and so is my DS. I’m still gonna test before seeing my friend and if I have any symptoms. I’ll deal with the “telling off” from SLT IF I test positive but I’m not risking the health of others.
