Contracted hours

I’m contracted from 8-4 at work. The kids finish up early on Thursday and Friday at 3. Pretty much everyone heads for the door at 3 on those days. As I haven’t been here long, I’ve stayed my contracted hours.

is this something I ask about? As pretty much only a handful of people are in their rooms on these days? Or shall I just do exactly as my contract dictates?

Teachers generally don't have contracted hours. Do you mean "directed time"? We have to be on site ten minutes before and after the session, which is 8.30-3.40.

I was flicking through my paperwork and there’s a section that dictates working hours so yes directed time I think and it states 8-4 but as I said everyone seems to be leaving well before that and it’s me and very few people left in the building

Then you need to stay. Let other people take their own risks
