QTS / return to teaching?

I was wondering if anyone could help? I’m considering a return to teaching but am confused about my options.

I have a PGCE (Primary) but haven’t taught for circa 10 years (I’ve been working full time in a different sector).

I did some supply teaching including a 2 term placement that should have counted toward my NQT year but stupidly never had it signed off as I decided to leave the profession for personal reasons.

I now want to return to teaching. What I would like to do is get into EYFS. There’s a local nursery with a role that would be perfect and having looked at the qualifications checker on the gov site pgce with nqt is a relevant qualification for this… however does it count if I didn’t complete my induction year? I don’t think I can complete the NQT year in a nursery setting either.

Have tried to speak to the return to teaching people but because I’m primary not secondary they’ve no interest in talking to me!

If anyone can shed any light it would be very much appreciated!

Hi,
I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will come along but I have been able to get jobs with QTS, without having ever done my NQT year.
I imagine for the job you're looking at this should be fine (if they think you're a good fit etc)- I don't know a huge amount about EYFS though. My PGCE was in Primary but I've worked as a subject specialist teacher basically since, which is why I haven't done NQT year. My additional experience (degrees etc) plus QTS was enough to get me jobs.
