Earning extra money while teaching

Hello! I have just secured a new role for September 2022, working 3 days per week teaching Key Stage 2.

I would like to boost my income and rather than just do supply for the other 2 days per week, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for slightly more creative ways to earn a little extra money on the side?

I don't mind the thought of doing supply but it would be nice to do something where I can work from home as I have two children myself so some flexibility would be great (resulting in less need for them to attend breakfast and after-school clubs etc).

I am a computing lead and used to work as a secondary computing teacher so am quite good at anything IT related. Happy to consider anything really!

Thank you in advance.

I work 3 days a week part time like you and do online Maths and English tutoring on my days off. Don't know if that would work for you?

If not, how about joining an online IT helpdesk/call centre where you can work remotely from home?

How do you get your online tutoring roles?

How do you get your online tutoring roles?

Through a local agency. There are loads you could join. Or you could set up privately and charge your own fees!

Yes. After school and/or at the weekend.
