Sharing medical information

I've just had an email from the school administrator asking me what medical conditions I have, and what medications I take.

Am I obliged to provide this? I'm happy to list my asthma as I can see a need for the school to know this, but surely the rest is my personal medical information.
Google hasn't provided a clear answer.

Odd one! Run it by your union

I have always declared all medical conditions and medication. It was very useful during covid as they could see my autoimmune condition made me vulnerable.

If I were still taking some meds (ie anti drpressants) I am not sure i'd declare them though.

The only time I've been asked for medical info is when taking part in a residential school trip in case of an emergency and even then, it was clear it was up to me to only include information I thought was relevant.

That said, we did have a teacher collapse in school and no-one could answer the paramedic's questions but I guess that would be the case anywhere.
