Not a teacher but in a school. I, and others work so hard in a school that squeezes the pips out of you. Love the children and the community though not an easy ride as staffing capacity massively stretched and expectations from SLT high.
I can cope with most of that but the dismissiveness of some SLT, rolling eyes from one when need to ask a question etc, is actually soul destroying.
Supply come in and say that what is expected at this school is not the norm and hint at greener pastures.
I don't know. Tired. Going to be high turnover this year with staff.
The party line as to why will be positive.
