NCT marking

I used to mark KS2 reading papers but took a couple of years out when I had my children, then obviously covid hit. I registered my interest with Capita a few weeks ago (I see they are still offering registrations of interest) but just wondered if anyone had heard back from registration of interest/contracts already given out?

I was emailed in November offering me to e chance to apply for marking (have previously marked been a TL for KS2 under Pearson). I was offered contract in December and been chased for my right to work check information. My first day of training is in a few weeks time (that’s for team leader not marker) so I think you’d need to get it sorted soonish though,

I would ring them if you haven’t heard anything as might be easier?

Did you mark in 2018? It did say that they would be in touch with those markers first…
I was wondering about contacting them as if you don’t ask..!

I marked as TL in 2018. Didn’t take offer of marking in 2019 as we went travelling, then no marking for two years as no KS2 exams.
