Supply teaching, what's it like?

Can I ask for experiences of supply teaching? I am currently an Early Years TA. I taught year 1 and Reception, then had my 2 children.

How tricky do you reckon supply would be in KS1 or EY?

General experiences or tips would be very gratefully received.
