Hi,

I am going to apply to a school for a primary teaching position. The advert said visits are welcomed but one of my placements up to Christmas was in the school. Should I still ask to visit? There has been a change of head so I'd like to visit to meet him but will they think I'm daft because it has been so recent.

One of our trainees is currently on placement in a school where a job has just come up. The HT said she should join one of the group visits of potential applicants to give her an equivalent experience.
