New variant. I’ll need to mask up again, freezing classroom. Last year we were wearing layers and it still took me ages to warm up when I got home.
Kids have been dropping like flies. They are so, so far from where they should be and another disrupted year will break some of them. Dfe and Ofsted don’t give a crap. It’s all over according to them so we should be all hunky dory. Social media full of school staff leaving.
I was feeling low now this new variant business has sunk me.
I just can’t do it again. I just want to teach.
Anyone else had enough?

Yes. If we get a sniff of TAGs coming back in before Feb half term, I honestly might just quit at Easter so I don't have to do all that again in the summer term.

It's the thought of doing Tags again that I just can't bear.

I guess I don’t have that as I’m primary. We have sats this year…. Although if this goes on maybe not.

I'm pretty sure it will be TAGS.

I would gamble on exams being cancelled next year.

Yes this new variant stuff has really got to me today. Total deja vu and it’s just utterly rubbish. The whole ofsted thing is a total joke. Just grim.

I think/hope exams will go ahead. Schools might close for some year groups if staff absence gets really bad but I think exam classes will be kept in.
