Does anyone else think there’s a massive scam going on with the government and CO2 monitors? They’ve spent £25 million pounds on CO2 monitors for classrooms and are now supplying air purifiers. Our CO 2 monitors arrived a few weeks ago and all our rooms showed low CO2 levels. Today, several of them are showing high levels, even in the playground - it’s a rural school with very little traffic. I had a couple of spare monitors so I got them out and they are showing low levels, so I literally have two monitors side by side with one saying everything’s fine and the other is off the scale. So my first point is that they are clearly completely unreliable. Secondly, considering they cost about £30, £25 million would buy over 800,000. There aren’t that many classrooms in the country. Thirdly, if I believed my monitors I’d be phoning the government for air purifiers, which, coincidentally, they were advertising today.
Someone is making a massive profit out of selling this stuff to the government. It’s got to be a massive, government backed scam hasn’t it?
