LFT tests after Covid

Am currently 'recovering' from an awful bout of PCR confirmed Covid - nearly 2 weeks on, and still highly symptomatic.
The school are still requesting twice weekly LFTs, and unsurprisingly, my results are still positive.
What's confusing, is that Test & Trace had advised when they called, that further routine testing is not recommended, for at least another 90 days - unless new symptoms arise. Which seems odd in itself, as many early Covid symptoms, are hard to differentiate from other innocuous virus symptoms - so you could end up testing 'positive' again, with a simple cold?!

What are other schools doing after testing positive? Are they still requiring routine LFTs within that 90 day period? And are you expected to isolate, if they are positive??
Thank you

You shouldn't do LFD's within 90 days, like PCR. The idea is that like most infections even norovirus, you don't get it again, as you have immunity, there are exceptions which is why you can test again, if you get the symptoms, just in case, but could still be residual from previous infection, no way to tell.

Have your school not read the government guidance?
