Support staff cleaning toilets

Have any LSAs / TAs been given any useful advice from their union about being asked to clean the children's toilets? We have no COSHH or any other training, there are no gloves, no ventilation etc. Union response was basically "there's a line in your contact that says they can ask you to do anything".

No gloves! That cannot fit with H&S so that is not a reasonable expectation.

I thought the line 'and anything else as directed by the head teacher' still had to be line with your roles and duties you had applied for?
