Will it be easy to return?

I worked for as a secondary teacher in the independent sector for one year, doing teacher training at the same time. I decided I needed some time out afterwards to decide whether teaching was for me, possibly a year. Despite the stress of the first year, I am now missing the classroom and wondering how easy it will be for me to go back. Will this have affected my chances of securing a post and will schools want to avoid taking on an NQT with the new requirements for NQT training? I also wonder if I will be able to find anything before next September.

Any thoughts greatly appreciated!

Schools are desperate for supply at the moment so registering with agencies could be a good way to get experience in schools - and to work out which schools you might want to work at in the future.

What feels different now to when you decided to leave though? Why do you think it will be different if you go back?
