Hi, hope it's ok to post here. My ds has made it to yr 6 (mainstream with a huge amount of support, budgets, therapy, equipment....) he's had the same fulltime 1:1 since reception and his senco is fearless not to mention amazing. They've both gone above and beyond for our family and stood by us when we've had moments with the LA.

Christmas is coming up and then in July he's leaving. I usually get them a bottle as a thank you but this year is different as it's the last. I would like to get them something more or do something more meaningful.

Can anyone suggest anything please or share anything that you'd love as a gift. I'm just looking for ideas please. Many thanks

My favourite gifts have been a silver bicycle keyring as they knew I rode to work everyday and a hand written thank you letter with memories of our time together. Keep it simple and personal (and maybe a bottle on top Wink)

I work in SN and what l most appreciated was the personal note as sometimes people forget to actually say what they found good for their child.
And then a voucher for a local coffee shop always went down a treat!!

I completely agree that a heartfelt letter (including one from your son too?) would be very gratefully received! Also like the above poster said, something specific to them personally if you know what they like.

Thank you both Flowers I do usually send a thank you card in at the end of year and always tend to write a proper thank you so it’s good to know that hopefully has been appreciated over the years as I wasn’t sure if it was too much and I should just put thank you and have a great Summer.
