How long before decision on TA job

Went for an inteview for a TA job last Wednesday - so a week ago. Thought it went well - who knows really though.

Not a single word from them since.

How long do they usually take?

Did they tell you when they'd let you know and how? And were they interviewing over a couple of days? Have they emailed and it's gone to junk mail? It's not good form not hearing.

I'm my experience, I've been contacted on the same day I had the interview (for both successful and unsuccessful ones). Not the case for jobs outside of education when it's taken up to a week! Good luck and hope it works out OK.
