Second job

Does anyone else work part time and have a second job preferable term time as I have my own children in the school holidays? I need to earn more money but don't want to teach more days due to the extra planning and responsibility!

I did some work for another company but asked my HT if it was ok (there was nothing in my contract about second jobs but my union rep advised me to as a courtesy).

Perhaps try tutoring?

Lots of schools have funding for 121 tutoring.

I did. Taught three days in school and one evening a week plus 2 of six Saturdays for a charity teaching adults. It was busy and juggling required but nice to do two different things.
