Good CPD type books?

I just finished reading the art of being a brilliant nqt. It was a good book but some obvious things too. I’d love to know if there’s anyone who can recommend some genuinely good books on how to be a great teacher/ECT.

I know that teaching isn’t something you can really learn from a book but I do like to read some ways I can get better and be great at my job to make my students stay engaged.

Rosenshine, the workbook is also decent if you have someone to work through it with. Doing it alone is fine but probably better in discussed with someone.

What subject? I've gone generic but could recommend maths books.

I second twitter! Try to ignore the eduspats, there is so much expertise out there. Follow teachers of your subject first, then others. Do not be afraid to mute and block.

Subject knowledge - you can't be anyone else, so work on knowing your stuff really well and on how to explain it in several ways.
