Sixth form teaching?

I have really little experience on this front. I’m not actually sure about anything as due to covid I’ve not been allowed to teach a level.

I’m a bit scared tomorrow at my interview I’ll be grilled about it yet I know nothing I’ve been to one lesson observation about othello and that’s it

Am I allowed to be honest and say I have limited experience however I’m willing to do what it takes to observe when appropriate and eventually develop the confidence to teach a level?

I’ve been told I’ll be asked this

At least say that you know the spec and assessment criteria

You’re unlikely to be able to observe as a teacher rather than a trainee. Just say you have little experience of it but are willing to learn.

Of course you're allowed to say it. Not everyone wants to teach a level either, and that's okay.
