Support Staff notice period

Hi I am on a term time only support staff contract and want to hand my notice In. I am paid over 12 months. When should I do it to make sure I am paid for July and August? I will have worked from September to July (whole school year) but don't want to lose pay. Please put my mind at rest.

If you're on green book terms and conditions, you're entitled to be paid up to the end of August, provided you work up to and including the last day of term.

Please accept this as formal notice of my resignation. My last day will be 31st August 2021.

Then thank them for the opportunities they have given you etc etc.
